IRB DRIVERS AWARD
Congratulations to Sofie and Sian on achieving their IRB Drivers Award on Saturday at Muriwai Beach.

A big thank you to our instructors Brendan, Caleb and Rob, plus those from other clubs who helped make this course possible, and to Muriwai Volunteer Lifeguard Service for hosting all of the west coast training.

Good luck to the rest of the Red Beach crew on this course Leon, Meg, Eva, Dan O, who will sit their IRB Drivers Exam in two weeks. We're looking forward to seeing you all join the growing ranks of qualified IRB drivers!

As shared in our previous post, we have fantastic Red Beach finalists representing the club at the Surf Life Saving Northern Region Awards of Excellence Night.

The club is also a finalist for the prestigious Yamaha Club of the Year award.

RED BEACH FINALISTS NAMED FOR AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE
Red Beach club members are well-represented in the line-up of finalists announced by Surf Life Saving Northern Region for the Awards of Excellence Night.

The event will take place on Saturday, 4th July at Shed Ten on Queens Wharf.

Red Beach Surf Club has been named as a finalist for the prestigious Yamaha Club of the Year award.

The 2026 running of the golf tournament saw great weather, course in top condition and 19 teams competing for the top prize.
Congratulations to all the prize winners. We didn’t hit the hole in one this year … maybe next year!

Getting pretty excited to recognise all the exciting achievements from the season just gone!

Please remember we are kicking off a little earlier this time. Make sure you are at the club before 5.45pm as we will get under way at 6pm on the dot. Mix and mingle from 5.30pm.
