OPPERTUNITY ! After many messages we've managed to create "Destash Lane" this sunday at Coast, during A Very Coastie Event A Very Coastie Christmas! Its 11am - 3pm. There are a limited number of these spots available so message fast. Tables for Destash lane are $15 each with all $$$ going to Grandparents raising grandchildren.

Our much-loved A Very Coastie Christmas community festival is coming back — bigger, brighter, and more full of local spirit than ever! 🌊🎅

We’re on the lookout for local makers, performers, foodies, volunteers, sponsors, and community groups who want to help make this magical day come alive. Whether you want to run a stall, perform on stage, lend a hand behind the scenes, or help spread some Christmas cheer — there’s a place for you!

This event is all about celebrating our Coast community, bringing people together, and creating memories that make Whangaparāoa shine. 🌟

These talented aspiring young artists meet every Thursday afternoon at the Whangaparāoa Community Hub (Coast Plaza) — and their creativity is now lighting up the library walls.

🎨 Buckets of paint

🎨✨ Calling All Creative Coasties! ✨🎨

We’ve been absolutely blown away by the amazing response from our local sparkys for this epic community project — now it’s time to find the perfect artistic match! 💥

We’re on the hunt for a passionate artist, group of artists, or local creative legend to collaborate with young people and bring two iconic murals to life — with a truly authentic Coastie Christmas vibe! 🎄🌊🎅

🖼️ The murals are approx. 3.8m x 1.8m each, made up of three panels per mural.
📍 Local youth engagement is key.
💡 We’re applying for funding — so we’re needing concepts ASAP!
