Hey Whanganui friends & whanau 🤗

We are open again today from 3-4pm, at Christ Church Anglican Parish, Wanganui.

If you're struggling to make ends meet, please come on down and bring a bag, if you can, and get some free kai for the family. 🥦🥕🍅

1 bag per household, people are served in order of arrival. Please be mindful of the queue, everyone will get food.

We are beyond grateful to Christ Church Anglican Parish, Wanganui & Whanganui Anglicans for carrying on with Unity Food and the service of providing food for the weekend for people who are doing it tough.

Dear friends & followers of Unity Food 🤗

One chapter closes, but another one will begin soon: We are so very happy to announce the great news that after a short break, the Whanganui Anglicans & Christ Church Anglican Parish, Wanganui will continue with our free food service later in September. The re-opening date will be posted and confirmed on this page.

This will allow some time for cleaning of the storage room, defrosting and cleaning the fridges/freezers to ensure all is in place for a smooth continuation of what this team loves to do best: serve the community and make sure nobody goes hungry over the weekends.

We are so grateful to our hosts from the church, Pastor Caleb and Craig our fantastic Community Coordinator. Thank you for picking up this mission and carrying it forward! 💖

We would also like to say thank you to all our main supporters, who we have worked with for years:
