The Whanganui Rural Community Board is hosting community conversation sessions to hear your thoughts on:
👉 Whanganui District Council’s Annual Plan 2026/27 consultation document
👉 The Board’s refreshed strategic plan – Rural Directions
…and anything else that matters to your rural community!

Board members will be there to chat, answer questions, and listen to your ideas. Come along, we’d love to see you!

Calling All Market Stall Holders!!!

Kai Iwi Beach Christmas Market Day is officially Sunday 17th Of November 2024

Stalls will be $20 per table, pre paid to our account is required for booking conformation by Monday 4th of November.

We will be starting the official Stall booking system from today and will be on a first in basis as to numbers and position in the hall itself.
Fabulous news this year we now have cell phone coverage so if you have eftpos this will now be possible.
We will be taking into consideration what goods you have for sale for the Layout and we will do our best to arrange tables to keep similar products away from each other unless requested.
We want to keep types of communication to just email so we can avoid missing anything or anyone so we ask that you all please send an email to [email protected] with the following information…..

Name
Contact email and phone #
Name of Business if applicable
Where you are from
All types of products you intend to sell
How many tables you require or if you have you own
Preferred position in the hall or if you want to be outside
If you want to be located with another stall holder

Anzac Day Dawn Service & Breakfast
Thursday 25th April 6am

The Friends of Kai Iwi Beach invite you to join them at the lookout for a short commemoration service, then make our way to the Hall, for those who wish to may walk led by Bagpipe player Revel McIntyre
Breakfast and refreshments served in the Hall from 6.30am
A cost of $10 per Adult $5 per Child (cash only)
RSPV 20th April, essential for catering purposes limited to 100
