An archive photo. Just to let people know That Waikato Chrysanthemum Society did have to close due to lack of growers and being able to run our beautiful big Shows, like we had at Hamilton Gardens. We have wonderful memories and gave a donation to Hamilton Gardens along with the gorgeous brown rusty bloom that sits in the big wheelbarrow in the Surrealist garden. A plaque sits in stainless steel on the wood bar near the wheel. Hamilton Gardens
I still get enquiries on growing these beautiful blooms. That's fine.

October 24th marked the formal launch of our donated Fantasy-inspired Chrysanthemum Sculpture, strategically located in the enchanting Surrealist Garden. The event was attended by the management team, families of the late Ashley Booth and Jock Sinclair, and paid respects to other departed members, while celebrating with existing members our prolonged success and multiple Chrysanthemum Shows, including NZ Nationals, held at Hamilton Gardens' Pavilion. We express our appreciation to Hamilton Gardens management for arranging a private viewing and an exquisite morning tea.
