CReW Whakatāne Community Resources Whakatāne - CReW is a not-for-profit, community reuse centre at 40 Te Tahi Street, Whakatane. CReW is open Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.

We'd love to receive your unwanted goods and welcome you to our shop full of fantastic items for sale! There is an enormous range of stuff for sale that is ready to use or can be repurposed for more creative uses. We always have

opportunities for volunteers to work with us to develop CReW into a thriving community enterprise. Come down and have a chat with one of the team; it's great to hear from people who have specific skills to offer, such as furniture repairs, bicycle repairs, electrical safety testing. We are part of the RCN E-Cycle network of electronic and electrical goods recyclers. Bring down your old computer or electrical equipment and we'll make sure none of it goes to landfill. There is a charge for some items to be recycled. We also accept all larger whiteware and domestic appliances, working or not.

The V.W. Cafe is looking for a Part Time Skilled Cafe Worker.
You will be required to work Monday's and Fridays from 8.00am - 2.30pm.
We would ideally like someone who has experience working in a cafe and who has strong food preparation skills.
The cafe is located at 40 TeTahi Street, Whakatane in the CReW building.

CReW can take it off your hands! Bikes, tools, gates, metal fencing, vehicle batteries, aluminium windows or even that rusty treasure your partner keeps asking you to get rid of! If it’s metal and fits on our truck, we’ll take it.

Whakatāne and surrounding areas only. Call to arrange a collection time. E-Waste charges apply to electrical items unless already broken down. ♻️
