We're going to be selling Raffle Tickets at New World Whakatane today from 10am until 4pm!

We have a few events coming up and are in need of volunteers that might want to help out. These are usually 2 hour stints where you volunteer with someone, usually selling raffle tickets, usually fun, usually sets you up for a great week knowing that you've raised money for a very special charity too!!

Super quick shout out to a special birthday lady who is ALWAYS cheery and happy and practically launches herself into problem solving mode whenever we need her.

Not sure of her actual birthday age, but we're pretty sure she's ticking the 24-29 category on forms (aren't we all?)

This special lady, is a local superstar, who's just 100% into supporting her community and just being there with all her energy whenever someone needs her. She's one of the kindest, happiest, genourousest souls ever.... Miss Teri Dinning at Flatline Computer Company on Valley Road.

You may see Flatline tagged in all our posts lately because they donated the Chrome Book package that we're raffling off during the school holidays! Yet another event that Flatline have pitched in for - making them one of our favouritest peoples!

Teri, thank you (and Daniel, even though it's not his birthday), for everything you do for our Hospice whether it's volunteering, donating or not rolling your eyes when we do something really silly on our computers and you have to come in and fix it. We hope you have a super awesome birthday week!

We use the money you donate to provide everyone in our community the help they need when they are referred to Hospice.

We're coming to the end of September so here's a quick reminder that writing your Will is super important - during September you can get a FREE basic will drawn up with a participating law firm, if you leave a gift to a charity in your Will.

Putting your wishes in writing and making sure the people and causes that matter to you will be looked after is so important.

Having a Will provides clarity for your loved ones and gives you the opportunity to make decisions about what happens to your belongings and estate. It can also be a meaningful way to support a cause that has been important to you during your lifetime.
