Pop in and visit! $5 per session/$25 per term - under one’s free 🤩 Playgroup provides unstructured play in a safe, secure environment and is an excellent forum for meeting others in the community. We have a wide range of toys and equipment (both indoor and outdoor) and activities including painting, craft, playdough and sandpit. We also benefit from having the amazing, fully-fenced Wadestown playg
round on our doorstep. Where possible, we arrange educational visits by children’s entertainers, such as travelling farm or fire engine. Each child attending Playgroup must have a parent or caregiver stay with them, interacting in the play activities with their child/ren. Playgroup relies on parents and caregivers to run smoothly and all members are asked to contribute, which makes for a great atmosphere. We have a management committee of volunteers, which oversees the operation of Playgroup. Wadestown Playgroup has lots of great resources and equipment for explorative play; we also have a quiet area for younger children/babies, which as comfy sofas and feeding pillows. Children come together for kai at morning tea, we ask that children bring a snack box along for this. For the grown ups, we provide tea and coffee and chocolate bikkies - yum!
