Thanks to the incredible mahi of our volunteers we have 🚲 30 bikes 🚲 available for our next sale and bike matching night, Wednesday 1st of April. There's a wide range of sizes of kids bikes available for 5/6yo and up. Please be patient with us while we help people in order of arrival from 6pm. If you have bikes, parts or accessories to donate there's no need to wait in the queue please place them under the green heart at the back of the car park and let us know what you've dropped off. 🚴‍♀️🚴 See you there!

-Bike locks. Key or combination, especially chain, D and folding locks.
-Bike lights. USB rechargeable red or white coloured only
-Bike bells. In working condition.

-Components in new/unworn/excellent condition, especially quality, new/unused:
grips, bar tape, bar plugs, brake pads (V, road rim and all disc types), disc rotors, cassettes, chain (7,8,9spd), derailleurs, innertubes, shifters, brake and gear cable and housing, pannier racks, panniers.

-Tools in excellent condition:
Park work stands, floor pumps, single size spoke keys, picks, phillips screwdrivers, 16mm, 17mm & 19mm combi ring spanners, folding multi tools, cone spanners, mini grease applicator, spoke thread roller, tap & die set.

MECHANIC COURSE
We are running our next mechanics course!

This is a beginner friendly 10 week course - all equipment is provided!

If you've ever wanted to learn how to service your own bike, or are keen to learn to become a community mechanic and help fix up bikes, register below.

When: 10 weeks on Monday nights, 6:15-8:15 PM, 26th January to 20th March 2026
Where: EkeRua ReBicycle workshop, 46 Russell Terrace, Newtown, Wellington
Cost: This course is fully funded by WCC and by previous participants, so there is no cost in order to attend. If you are able to donate koha towards future courses we'd appreciate it, and suggest a koha of $150 for unwaged and $300 for waged participants.

We'll be at Strathmore Park Community Centres' Freshen up event Friday 23rd Jan from 11am-3pm at Raukawa Community Centre. Bring your bike in for a freshen up- we'll have a crew there to check over bikes and share a few maintenance tips. There will be a limited number of bikes available on the day too.

It's almost time to Freshen Up for School!! We will be outside of the Raukawa Community Centre with the usual good vibes, hair cuts, self care goody bags, books, crafts, halal sausage sizzle, and so much more. See you there🤩
