The Whakaahuru Gentle Singers celebrated their 10th birthday in December 2024(*). Blowing out the candles are founding members Jiko McIntosh, Bronwen Newton, Ian Brewer and Sue Talbot. These singers have been bringing joy, comfort and relaxation to people near the end of life for ten years. In 2024 they sang 100 times - at bedsides and in the lounges of hospital and dementia units.
