Some interesting findings in the recent INFRASTRUCTURE FORECAST REPORT 6 from Rider Levett Bucknall.

Worth a look for some at-a-glance analysis of where things are at right now. Some choice comments from the summary include:

"New Zealand’s infrastructure sector is holding firm against a backdrop of broader construction market weakness — but a fuel crisis triggered by escalating geopolitical conflict is pushing civil construction costs sharply higher, and the sector faces a testing period ahead."

"... infrastructure construction continues to outperform. While residential and non-residential construction remain subdued — weighed down by weak demand and tighter margins — infrastructure is the key stabilising force in New Zealand’s construction sector."
