Congratulations Mary Potter Hospice supported by the Mana Lions, winners of the People's Choice tree!

Not only was the rainbow tree a magnificent, creative display, but has such a special meaning and story behind it.

CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 Good Bi***es Baking on winning our 3rd place tree!

We adore their Christmas gift box tree, topped with a mouth watering layered cake - the icing on the cake so to speak!🎂

The gift boxes symbolise the work they do, giving the gift of a moment of sweetness to people having a tough time, distributing these goodies via organisations like Cystic Fibrosis NZ, that support those people.

Not only was the tree absolutely beautiful, but we love the sentiment behind the creativity of the rainbow windmill tree, to take a moment and breathe, feel the breeze. A tribute to all of those living with CF, a reminder of their strength and courage and a display of kindness 💙

As part of Wellington Airport’s annual Christmas tree festival, Mary Potter Hospice patients, and volunteers, created dozens of bright tree decorations by hand.

Hi CF whānau and friends 💙

Wellington Airport and our wonderful sponsors are busy fluffing the trees and decking the halls for the magical Cystic Fibrosis Wellington Christmas Tree Festival.

We’ll be celebrating the start of the festival with the opening gala, on Tuesday 2nd December, 6-7.30pm. We’d love to see you there!

Join us for drinks and canapes, wander through the forest of trees and mix and mingle with many of the people involved in pulling this wonderful event together.

IMPORTANT: Due to cross infection risk, we kindly ask that those with cystic fibrosis join us in spirit rather than in person. Your presence is felt and appreciated from afar and we hope that you get to visit the sparkling terminal throughout December.
