April is our Biennial Installation.

Lodge Zetland No 312 is a unique Lodge with Master and Officers being in for a two-year term. It meets six times a year (12 meetings over the two years) and uses the 'off months' to do extra visiting or activities.

Join us on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026, for our Installation for the 2026-2028 term at the Wellington Freemasons Centre (The Wellesley), tyling earlier at 5.30 pm and visitors earlier at 6 pm and Grand Lodge thereafter.

The Installation of Bro John Villiers SW will be conducted by the Allied Air Force Masonic Flight team (thanks to the Grand Superintendent, VW Bro Mac McKenzie), and the Deputy Grand Master, RW Bro Mick Turner, is officially visiting.

The Refectory is not to be missed as we are joined by the 'Hardy Norseman' for a very special ceremony based around our Shetland Islands connection.

Look out for the Hardy Norsemen at our April two yearly Installation with the Master and Officers serving a two year term with bimonthly meetings over that period and off months especially for visiting other lodges.

First Degree as part of a Fraternal Visit by Lodge Zetland No 312 to The St Andrews Lodge No 32 with a gavel exchange. They open and close then we open and conduct 1st Degree on our candidate Richmond Delos Santos with their assistance. Join us at 7.30pm for visitors at Porirua Freemasons Centre for fraternal friendship and Entered Apprentice ceremony. Be there Monday 20th October or be square!

It was great that Brother Mark Andersson MM was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason last night.

Our Master W Bro Andrew Cowie thanks all the members present and those who took part as Officers or with Charges, including those from The St Andrews Lodge No 32 on its Fraternal Visit to us. We look forward to supporting them at their Installation on Saturday, 30th November, 2024 at Porirua.

It was a pleasure to have our Divisional Grand Master RW Bro Mick Turner and District Grand Master VW Bro Clive Lloydd in attendance as well.

Mark did very well with his Test Questions and the Ceremony, and it is great to welcome him as a fully-fledged Freemason.

We regret losing W Bro Peter Trewern as a Lodge Trustee and a Member since 1985 due to personal reasons. We wish Peter and Lucille well.

We also wish W Bro Terry Wellington GIG a speedy recovery from his operation.

We also had a proposition for a new candidate - Mr Mohammed Saleem (Sam) Khan
