The African Community Council of Wellington (ACCW) invites you to attend its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on:

The AGM is an important opportunity for members to:
• Receive treasurer and president reports on ACCW’s activities and achievements over the past year
• Review and approve the financial statements
• Elect the Executive Committee for the coming year
All members and friends of ACCW are warmly encouraged to attend.

Multifest 2025

The vibrant spirit of community and culture will come alive at Multifest 2025, taking place on Saturday, 20 September 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Walter Nash Centre, Taita, Lower Hutt.

Hutt Multicultural Council (HMC) organises Multifest, a free family-friendly festival that brings together many cultures. At Multifest, we celebrate diversity, unity, and shared identity. Hosted in one of the region’s most inclusive community hubs, the event invites people of all backgrounds to come together for a day of connection and celebration.

Attendees can look forward to:
• Live music and dance performances representing various cultural traditions
• A wide range of cultural food stalls offering global flavours
• Arts, crafts, and cultural displays
• Interactive activities for children and families

“Multifest is more than just an event, it is a celebration of who we are as a community” says Winsome Lam, President HMC.

Anita Mansell, Life Member and Coordinator Multifest 2025 noted “It’s about recognising the richness of our cultural identities while creating space for connection and understanding.”

Event Details:

- Venue: Walter Nash Centre, 1 Tocker Street, Taita, Lower Hutt
- Free Entry – All are welcome
