‘Waenga’ is about a young wahine Māori caught in the legislative machinery of “move-on” orders.

Performed by an ensemble cast of rangatahi, the play is presented in Te Rākau’s unique Theatre Marae framework, creating space for collective reflection and shared experience.

One of the mnay memories in our tour. Just last night. Tomorrow we are in Ōtaki, Friday in Levin and Saturday in Parapaparaumu. Next week is our last week - in the Wairarapa.
