🌅🥾 Winter Solstice Walk 🥾🌅

Got plans this Sunday? Why not stretch your legs post rugby celebrations and come along to say goodbye to the shortest day of the year🌏

Join us on Sunday, 21st June for a 1.5-hour walk along the Oruaiti Reserve in Seatoun.

📅 Date: Sunday, 21st June
🕓 Time: 3.30pm
📍 Meet: Little Sprig, Seatoun
⏱️ Duration: Approx. 1.5 hours

After the walk, we’ll head to the Little Sprig for some food & live music 🍔 🎸(we’re hoping they’ll have their roast on the menu🤞)

It would be remiss of us to let the season end without mentioning our outgoing President Ronan O'Malley whose time, energy, and commitment have left a lasting mark on our club.

Over the last two years, through every match day, committee meeting, fundraiser, challenge, and celebration, Ronan has led with dedication, fairness, and genuine passion for our club and our sport. He has given his time so generously for the benefit of players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and members at every level.

On behalf of everyone in the club, thank you Ronan for everything you’ve done and for the example you’ve set. We’re hugely grateful for your contribution.

Plus, he’s a Mayo man, so you know he’s good stock!

Introducing your 2026/27 Wellington Hutt Valley GFHA Committee 🤝

Last Thursday 21 May, our club held our Annual General Meeting at JJ Murphy & Co (huge thanks to the team for their hospitality!)

After reflecting on a fantastic year, we said some goodbyes to some outgoing committee members who have spent the past year (and more) representing our club. You know who you are - THANK YOU 🙏
