Interdisciplinary research, teaching and talking about science.

Welcome to the page for the Centre for Science in Society. We, as members of the CSiS community are interested in the relationship between science, scientists, society, the history of science, and the communication of scientific ideas and issues to different audiences and through a range of media. We look at the role of science and scientists in our present and in our past, how people and

governments use science to make decisions about issues like climate change and vaccination, increasing our understanding of how the wider community engages with science, and how and why scientific ideas and concepts are communicated.
