Kiwi Daddys Wellington is a support network of Kiwi fathers, father figures, brothers and sons that want to make a difference in their communities. We're the local Core Group of the KIWI DADDYS Worldwide Movement dedicated to all KIWI (born/raised/descent/affiliated/married to) DADDYS (biological/step/foster/expectant/guardian/bereaved/miscarriage/future fathers), of all ethnic backgrounds! ADDYS started as a Facebook support group, founded in early 2016 to provide a place where Kiwi Dads can find non-judgemental advice, support and brotherhood to help be a better man, father and partner. In less than 6 months, KIWI DADDYS exploded to over 55,000 members from all over the world and continues to grow every day. KIWI DADDYS has the vision of a place where proud Kiwi Dads from all walks of life and all parts of the world, can come together and help one another; whether it be with advice, encouragement, specialised support, constructive feedback or our famous kiwi humour. Too many of our Brothers are battling personal demons behind closed doors (mental health/alcohol/drugs), dealing with domestic pressure (FIFO/sole income/unemployment), ongoing personal health issues (obesity/diabetes/heart disease), or are struggling with not being able to secure more access/custody to their kids. Our members include ex and current Kiwi & All Black legends, NRL/Super Rugby players, Multi-National Company CEO's, Film/T.V/Radio personalities and more. So not only do we have a ton of experience and success to call upon, but we also acknowledge that no-one in this group is immune to the issues we face as men and fathers, and ALL are Brothers and no-one is above or below anyone else! The KIWI DADDYS Brotherhood empowers our members to help ourselves first in order to help our loved ones and serve our communities. The world we are raising our children may be fraught with dangers and fear, but if we make a change in our own lives, that's thousands of families who are making a difference in the next generation!
