The Wellington Baseball Association was established to participate as a member organisation of Baseball New Zealand and is the controlling body for baseball in the Greater Wellington region. Within the boundaries of the Wellington region we conduct, encourage, promote, advance and administer baseball on behalf of, and in the interest of our Members of baseball in Wellington. We ensure uniformity i
n the application of, the rules of baseball as may be determined from time to time and as may be necessary for the management and control of baseball and related activities in Wellington. We represent the interests of our Members and of baseball generally in any appropriate forum in Wellington to further develop baseball into an organised institution with the objective to foster, regulate, organise and manage Baseball related activities successfully for our Members and the general public. The Wellington Baseball Association, promotes the health and safety of our Members and as such may adopt and implement such policies as may be developed, including (as relevant and applicable) member protection, anti-doping , health and safety, junior sport, infectious diseases and such other matters as may arise as issues to be addressed in baseball. We seek to obtain improved facilities for the enjoyment of baseball in Wellington.
