YETI Nepal is an NZ registered charity working to raise funds to support senior Nepali students into higher education opportunities. We also support sustainable projects in Nepal that will benefit women and children through improving access to education, health and social welfare care. In 2013 YETI became the NZ based partner of the Irish charity The Umbrella Foundation and provides financial supp

Nepal conducted its post-GenZ movement early election on Thursday in a peaceful and orderly manner, although turnout was below average at 60%, possibly making it the lowest in Nepal's polling history.

A big thank you to all those who have been donating to YETI via our Givealittle page lately. Particularly those donating at the request of someone celebrating a major birthday milestone.

Your contributions are all going towards our next project in Nepal, a community education resource centre where kids in a low decile community will have a safe space to do homework and continue learning.

YETI assists disadvantaged youth in Nepal access higher education. We also partner with MS Kundrol Ling.

All major political parties and Gen Z representatives have agreed to appoint former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the head of the interim government. Her formal appointment is expected on Friday amid the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli following the Gen Z-led movement against corruption and the social media ban. However, differences remain between Gen Z representatives and traditional political parties over the dissolution of the current parliament and a few constitutional issues, according to sources.
