Applications are open for our new 2027 Aotearoa Youth Declaration Committee.

We're looking for a team to help us deliver our new nationwide Regional Huis model and build this new programme from the ground up.

Roles Open:
📚 Education Officer(s) – Design workshops & co-author the Declaration for Parliament
🤝 Communications Officer – Lead school, partner, speaker & delegate relationships
🎨 Promotions Officer – Manage socials, promo packs & design the Declaration document
📦 Logistics Officer – Own the budget, venue bookings, merch & event ops

Key Info:
• Time Commitment: 5–10 hrs/week (regional travel expected)
• Eligibility: Out of high school, aged 25 & under
• Applications Close: 9th October 11:59 PM

🏛️✨ Applications are officially OPEN for the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator roles for the 2027 New Zealand Model Parliament (NZMP).

In 2027, NZMP is making a major move to Auckland as our first national event of next year! We’re looking for passionate volunteers to lead the team, manage conference operations, and create an unforgettable experience for high school students nationwide.

AVAILABLE ROLES:
Coordinator: Lead the organising committee, shape the overall vision for NZMP 2027, manage finances, and oversee conference delivery.

Assistant Coordinator: Head the volunteer portfolio, lead recruitment and training hui, and support overall event ex*****on.

WHY APPLY?
Leadership: Gain high-level project management and executive leadership experience.
Impact: Empower the next generation of youth change-makers across Aotearoa.
Community: Join a supportive, passionate whānau of volunteers.

KEY INFORMATION
Time Commitment: Average 4–8 hours/week leading up to the event, with full-time availability required during conference week (Mid-April 2027).

Eligibility: Must be out of high school, aged 25 or under, and have no criminal convictions.
