A 24 hour futsal game is running this week starting 7pm on the 22nd of November at Shirley Boys High School, fundraising to support men’s mental health during November 👏

🚨‼️We need your help‼️🚨

Our good friends at Better Football have gifted us a court (made of SIPs panels) that we can use for charity sports tournaments. Thanks so much BF, you guys are legends!

We are in need of a storage solution. The court is currently in paid storage (1 20ft container) and we cannot afford to continue to store it.

Does anyone have any storage space we can use or a contact in storage who can help us out?

Any money we save on storage can go to a good cause! Our next event will raise money for Foster Hope - Wellington. Providing backpacks, toys, books and other essential items to children entering foster care.

If a storage company is looking for some sponsorship options in return for storage we would be happy to have a chat.

Hi folks, we need your help!

We are running another charity event and we need you to put your creative minds to work and help us come up with a name.

❗️Here are the details❗️
1. The event is a football tournament.
2. Teams will include Police, Fire, Labour, National, Wellington Free & other well known organisations all battling it out for a good cause.
3. There will be food and music and fun for all the family.
4. The event will be in Feb 2025 and we are aiming for a Wellington Waterfront location.

Today is 1 year since we played football for 45 hours and raised 80k for charity.

Thanks to all of you who made it possible. And a huge thanks to Better Football, Downer NZ, Frequency and Naylor Love.

No great event in history happened without an equally great team behind it.

More Than A Game would like to show appreciation and thanks to everyone who made this event possible. Not just during the 45 hours but also in the time before and after. Without these people and businesses, this event wouldn't have been possible.

This includes our sponsors, commentators, massage therapists, witnesses, volunteers, anyone who offered their time and services, supporters, videographers, everyone who donated either money, food or items, families and friends of our team and of course the team of 28!

So... Should we attempt 50 hours next time? 😉
