To assist newcomers to NZ to become participating members of an inclusive and diverse community and country. To promote fitness and heath amongst the youth of New Zealand by the provision of sporting and cultural activities. Provide training to ethnic community workers and professionals to excel in their field and better integrate into the New Zealand corporate environment. To provide other support and assistance consistent with this charitable purpose.

Kia pai tou tatou Matariki | Happy Matariki everyone!

Matariki the Māori New Year in the traditional lunar calendar
In Māori culture, it is both the name of the Pleiades star cluster and of the celebration of its first rising in late June or early July. This marks the beginning of the new year in the Māori lunar calendar. Matariki was made an official public holiday in Aotearoa New Zealand in April 2022, with the first celebration on 24 June of the same year.
