Would any youth be interested in helping direct cars this evening for the trick or treat slot of the Halloween at Willow Bank event? 1.5hrs

I need 4 if possible to help me.
If you help, I will give you a free entry in the haunted village and a free ice cream from Mr Whippy.

It is with sadness and deep disappointment that we inform you that The Wakefield Community Council (WCC) Management Committee has made the decision to no longer support Youth Hangouts to take place in the Wakefield Village Hall. This decision means that after 14 months and more than 60 successful Hangouts, this week will be our last gathering in the hall.

The Hangout has always been about creating a safe, positive space for our young people to connect, belong, and be supported by their community.

We want to thank every young person, volunteer, and family who has poured their energy and heart into making The Hangout such a positive place.
Look forward to seeing you on Thursday night for our last hangout.

Just a quick update — Julian is on a new journey at the moment … he’s standing for Council in the upcoming local body elections under the Moutere-Waimea ward! 🗳️✨

This is a big step, and it’s all about bringing community voices — especially youth and families — to the table. We’d love to see the Hangout community rally behind him and show your support along the way 🙌
