The Junktion Reuse Shop is open 8.30am-4pm Saturday and Sunday for all your secondhand shopping needs PLUS they have a massive winter sale on to help get you and your whanau through this final stint of winter - Adult clothes - 50c / Adults shoes - $1 / Kids shoes - 50c / Kids Clothes - FREE!

Got something small that needs fixing? Bring it along! ๐Ÿ”ง

Weโ€™ll have a mini pop-up Repair Cafรฉ at the Healthy Home, Healthy Planet Expo, with our volunteer fixers on hand to see what they can help you repair.

They can tackle simple repairs such as clothing and textile mending, basic bike repairs, bags, toys, small household items and other little fixes, using basic hand tools and equipment.

Larger, complex or workshop-based repairs won't be possible at this event. However, come and talk to our friendly volunteers about your larger repair projects and find out what might be possible at our next monthly Repair Cafรฉ.

Repairing rather than replacing is a simple way to save money, reduce waste and keep useful things in use for longer โ€” and you might even pick up a new repair skill along the way. โค๏ธ

Sharing disappointing news... The Waiuku Community Workshop & Tool Library was broken into in the early hours of Wednesday morning and a number of tools were taken. If you see or hear of any secondhand Ryobi tools for sale locally please alert us or the police. The tools will be distinctive as all are labelled or engraved with WTL and four numbers.

The purpose of the tool library is to support our community with shareable resources, at a very low-cost, but not in a break in and grab want you want sort of way!
