Whether you're a DIY pro or just love getting creative, The Great Remake: Upcycling Challenge is your chance to show off your upcycling skills and give new life to something.

Purchase any item from Waiuku Zero Waste in August and September and transform it into something amazing, useful, or just plain funky. Think clothing, furniture, bikes, toys, or make something totally new using a treasure found here.

1st prize winner is a $250 Junktion shop voucher and spot prizes will be awarded. Our awesome team will be the judges!

Since there's been confusion about what can and can't go in your kerbside bins, make yourself a zero-waste champion with some online learning in this short course.

In this 2-hour course, you will learn everything you need to know about how to properly manage and minimise your waste at home.

Bring along a person who needs a place to tinker, repair or spend a weekday afternoon with other likeminded folks. Come see what happens in our space, what projects were working on and how you can get invovled.

Amazing what communities can achieve when passionate people group together.

This food waste programme by our mates at Hibiscus Coast Zero Waste, is feeding locally grown produce and banding together school and retirement villages. On a mission to divert food waste from landfill, saving greenhouse gases and creating 'carbon sinks'.

What was once waste is now a resource thanks to a clever collaboration between classrooms, care homes, cafes and countryside.

Bring along your broken items this Saturday and our skilled volunteers will happily fix them.
