Waitarere cubs had a great first camping trip last weekend! Everyone helped pitch the tents, for some cubs it was their first time overnight in a tent. We went kayaking, practiced some bushcraft, had a campfire circle, cooked pancakes on 'hobo' stoves, and went for a river walk. It was a big weekend.
Well done to all the cubs and thank you to the parent helpers!

On Sunday the cubs took on the slippery challenge of a steep hill, silage wrap, water, and dish liquid. The result was a whole lot of fun!
