Michael Chubb walked the 10 km in 1hour 38minutes at Ambury Park Run Auckland series. Most impressive effort!!
Run Auckland at Ambury Regional Park today is the first of six races in the Run Auckland Series 2026.

Was a great T1 Ribbon day for football.
Waitakere were hosting & were joined by Auckland, Greenhithe & Inclusive Football.
Player of the day awards were presented for all teams, with Cody receiving it for Waitakere.
Waitakere got first place but only by 1 goal.

Our basketball teams, Titans & Rangers, had their first Ribbon Day on the weekend.
The Titans played Div 2 & placed 1st!
The Rangers played Div 4 & placed 1st!

Well done to the Waitakere Swim Team!

A small team of 8 swimmers did amazingly at the first Ribbon Day at Hibiscus Coast for 2026.
So proud of everyone for giving it your all and supporting each other throughout the day.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers and helpers today — your support was a massive help and very much appreciated. You all did awesome! 👏

Last NZ Ocean Swim series, Rangitoto to St Heliers, for Joshua & Eva, today.
Results - Joshua: 6th age group & 7th non wet suit age group & Eva: 8th age group.
Large contingent of swimmers today for the Auckland swim.

UPDATE - with end of swim series season - Joshua placed 3rd (red jersey) in age & Eva placed 1st (grey jersey) in age group - great effort from both of them.
Rock on 2026/2027 season.

Special Olympics Waitakere was represented at the Swanson RSA parade this morning with Amber & Cody laying the wreath.

ANZAC parade at Swanson RSA on Saturday 25th - athletes to meet at the school no later than 8.45am, March will start at 9am.

Was abit of rough seas & windy conditions for Eva & Joshua at the NZ Ocean Swim series at Mt Maunganui today.
Joshua placed 5th in age group & 5th in non wet suit age group.
UPDATE - Eva placed 3rd in age group - fantastic effort!
Well done to the both of them!
