Our Prajna students participated with great enthusiasm and devotion. The children looked beautiful dressed as different Gods and shared about their significance . They also presented wonderful dances and dressed as little Krishna's.

The children beautifully performed a Govardhana Puja skit, sharing the significance of Govardhana Hill and how Lord Krishna protected the people of Vrindavan. They also presented a touching Krishna–Sudama friendship skit, highlighting the beauty of true friendship, love and devotion.

🙏 Jai Srimannarayana! 🙏

On 2nd September 2026, the youth of Jeeyar Educational Trust, along with youth from seven other Hindu organisations across Auckland, came together with the youth of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) New Zealand to celebrate Rakshabandhan Utsav.

The evening began with tying a Raksha to the saffron-coloured HSS flag, symbolising our commitment to Dharma — while Dharma protects us, we too have a responsibility to protect and uphold it.

We then celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying Rakshas to one another, strengthening the bonds of unity, friendship and togetherness among the youth.

A heartfelt thank you to Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh New Zealand for organising such a beautiful and meaningful Utsav! 🙏
