Here is a pic of Mike Ross racing Trident. This progressed from a concept thanks to Colin giving Mike a Trident frame and oil tank to get the ball rolling. We would appreciate some pictures of Colin's 850 kitted Trident if anyone has any.

Colin Todd McCorkindale
27 March 1968 – 7 June 2026
Colin is currently lying at home at 1578 State Highway 2 Wairoa (Waihua) where all family and friends are welcome to come and pay their respects at any time. Church will be 5pm tonight (Tuesday)
On Wednesday afternoon, Colin will make a short visit to the Wairoa British Motorcycle Club, Lucknow Street. Everyone welcome to pay their respects at the Pad.
A Poroporoaki will be held at home (Waihua) 5.00pm on Thursday.
Colin's funeral service will be held at 9.00am on Friday at the Mormon Chapel, Wairoa, followed by a journey to Gisborne for cremation.

It is with overwhelming sadness we announce our bro Colin McCorkindale has passed on. A staunch member of this club for 36 years. Please feel free to share your photos and memories of Colin below. Funeral details to follow.

With the Club turning 40 at Labour Weekend thought it was about time to share some history.

This photo was taken outside the Kabul Street pad, while never an “official” pad it did have a lot of history with the Club. Beginning with Donut and BT living there in the mid 80s, followed by Carl and Shona (both RIP). Things really escalated when AJ (RIP) purchased the property for $30k (no healthy homes standard here), with Trasky and Syd both residing there with frequent visitors from the Hastings crew. It was then sold to Stanaway in 92 and was “decommissioned “ in 2006 when sold to a member of public who had nothing to do with Club.

Mudlick owned both Commandos, having swapped his mother's HZ Premier for the red one (imagine what that would be worth now!)
