🎀 The Waipu Lions Club and Ranburn Rest Home Hospital & Village hosted a successful Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Thursday.

A great turn out with 50 guests in attendance!
The “Paint a Cup” was a fantastic highlight.

This month’s monthly dinner meeting was held Waipu Boating Club - Pot luck with friends.

Beautiful spot, delicious food and great company.

Perfect way to relax after a busy weekend at the Waipu Car and Bike Show.

Our Lions Club meets twice a month for a Business meeting and for a social Dinner meeting.

We are always looking for new members to join so if you are interested please get in touch!

Waipu Car and Bike Show is on tomorrow!

Waipū Caledonian Park • 10am - 2pm
$10 Entry • Kids under 12 Free
Food & Market Stalls • Music • Face Painting
Alcohol Free • No Dogs

This awesome event is organised by a team of our Car & Bike Enthusiasts - who all volunteer their time to make this happen.
With ALL of the proceeds going to Local community projects and the amazing Northland Rescue Helicopter

100% of profits from the Waipū Lions Food Stall will be donated back to the community and NEST.
They will serving their popular mussel fritters, hot dogs and chips, bacon and egg buns!

Earlier this week our Club held its Annual Members Christmas Dinner at the Citizens & Services Club RAZZA Kitchen Waipu.
Such a great turn out - A delicious Christmas dinner served by the wonderful Shelly and entertained by “Sweet Talk” local ukulele ladies Catherine, Bronny & Julie.

This year instead of bringing a Secret Santa gift - all of our members bought food and presents which were donated to the Local Food Bank.

From us all in the Waipū Lions Club we wish you all a safe and happy festive season.

Introducing Sharon Carrol - Shaz.
Shaz has always an inspiring lady in our community, always willing to help where is needed and not afraid to run the big jobs too. Shaz has accomplished and brought many new ideas and events to our Club over the years, from organising the annual Mid winter Christmas Dinner for our senior citizens and sending out wonderful Christmas hampers to those in need during the holidays - among many things!
