A new 7-week creative journey is coming to DAB-ART-DO!

We’ll start with the bold, colourful architecture of Antoni Gaudí, exploring unusual shapes, patterns, and mosaics before moving into the atmospheric architectural world of Ian Murphy, where we’ll play with texture, light, shadow and mixed media.

Over the seven weeks, the children will gradually develop their own Gaudí-inspired architectural artwork — experimenting, layering and making creative choices along the way.

A chance to explore different techniques and really develop an artwork over time.

Start next week on Wednesday. Students are asked to commit to the full 7-week programme.

As we welcome spring chances of swarms increase. It's a natural tendency of bees and while it can look a little intimidating they tend to be generally calm and mission focused. Please reach out if you need help with swarm collection, we will do our best but it is not always possible! Flick us a message or call Nick 02102981621 or Ceilia 02102627283 (Northern Southland based)

Really disappointing to see animal remains dumped along our riverbanks. There are other, more responsible ways to dispose of carcasses than leaving them beside our waterways.
With families heading down to the river for the opening of fishing season, this is certainly not what anyone should be coming across.
Our rivers are there for everyone to enjoy. Please treat them with respect
