Waihi Beach Tennis Club Inc Welcome to the Waihi Beach Tennis Club (Inc) located in the Pohutukawa Reserve, Seaview Road, Waihi The Waihi Beach Tennis Club was established in 1931.

It is well known to have the best views in the land and is situated on the Pohutukawa Scenic Reserve with overhanging Pohutukawa and frequent flying visits from native pigeons. We have 6 artificial turf courts of which 2 have flood lighting. Spacious clubrooms complete the picture and all this only 200 metres from Waihi Beach. her of our attractions. For those of you who enjoy social tennis for exercise or fitness we play every Tuesday and Friday morning 12 months of the year. Just turn up at 8.30am/9.00am and you will receive a warm welcome. For those of you who like to be a little more competitive we have Team Tennis on Wednesday evenings at 5.30pm (for parts of the year only) and run a range of popular summer tournaments. We presently have a really active Junior membership who have coaching & club days depending on age and ability. We have a growing membership with Family and social subscriptions available and the courts are available for casual hire for non members per half hour. The 2026 Papamoa Hot Shots tournament is on Matariki day, in the school holidays - Friday, 10 July.

Celebrating Matariki on and off the court!

A great outing for Hot Shots and parents, finished by lunchtime, and you still have the afternoon to enjoy!

Events: Red Ball (8 & Under); Orange Ball (10 & Under); Green Ball (12 & Under)
