🎉 Silverpine Scout Group is back for 2026! 🎉

We’re kicking off the new term this week and can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another action-packed season of outdoor adventures, teamwork, and fun! 🌲🔥

While many of our nights are held at the Silverpine Scout Den, Pinehaven Reserve, Pinehaven, we’re often out exploring the bush, community spaces, and local adventures beyond the Den! 🌳🧭

Our programmes cater for all ages - there’s something for everyone:
Keas (5–8 yrs) – Thursdays, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Cubs (8–11 yrs) – Wednesdays, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Scouts (11–14 yrs) – Mondays, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Venturers (14–18 yrs) – Thursdays, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

✨ Now’s the perfect time to join if your youth is Scout-aged (11–14 yrs)!
The next New Zealand Scout Jamboree is happening at the end of December 2026 through January 2027 - a once-every-three-years event packed with adventure, friendship, and new experiences. Don’t miss the chance to be part of it! 🇳🇿⛺

🌟 Join the Scouting Adventure at Silverpine Scout Group! 🌟

Good evening, Silverpine community!

We’re excited to share that all four sections of Silverpine Scouts are running, and we’re now accepting new applications for Term 4! 🎉

📅 Our Sections:
Keas (5–8 yrs): Thursday 6:00–7:00 PM
Cubs (8–11 yrs): Wednesday 6:30–8:00 PM
Scouts (11–14 yrs): Monday 6:30–8:30 PM
Venturers (14–18 yrs): Thursday 7:00–9:00 PM

All sections are based at the Silverpine Den, Pinehaven Reserve.

Our leaders have an exciting term plan ready for every section, and we’d love to welcome more youth to join the fun, learning, and adventure! 🌲

💡 Try it out! Youth can come along for a week or two to see what it’s all about before committing.

✨ Special Opportunity: Term 4 is a great time to get involved if your child wants to attend the 2026 New Zealand Jamboree at Mystery Creek (30 Dec 2026 – 7 Jan 2027) for ages 11–14 at the time.

What is Jamboree?
The New Zealand Scout Jamboree is a national camp held every three years, bringing together thousands of Scouts from across New Zealand and overseas. Scouts live under canvas for 9 days, taking part in adventure activities, outdoor challenges, skills development, and making new friends—often the highlight of a Scout’s journey! 🔥
