All the photos are the work of nine full-time and relieving Police forensic photographers from across the country who’ve taken time to help showcase our dedicated German shepherds and Labradors at work and at play.

Proceeds from sales of the calendar goes to support the work of the Police Dog Charitable Trust (www.policedogtrust.co.nz).

Judgement Day!

Every year the NZ Police Dog Trust partners with The Cop Shop and we produce the Police Dog calendar that has become a popular stable on many Christmas gift lists. The collection of photos for the calendar come from a photo competition that is run during the year between photographers of the NZP Forensic Photography Section, working with police dog handlers and their dogs from all around the country.

This year (2024)will mark our eight calendar produced since 2017, with over 30000+ calendars sold over this time and selling out most years. Over $200, 000 has been raised since the first calendar with all profit from sales going back to the Police Dog Trust. Details on how the funds are used can be found at www.policedogtrust.co.nz.

So Yesterday was judging day at the Police Dog Training Centre with over 200+ amazing photos submitted…suffice to say it was one hell of a job narrowing it down to the selected few and a final winner! These successful photos are now off to our graphics people to be imbedded into the calendar layout, and once the final draft is signed off, it will be made availability at www.thecopshop.nz for preorder purchasing. This years calendar is looking to be another pearler so be sure to look out for it!
