The Pink Campervan is heading our way! 🩷🚐

Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's Putiputi Ātaahua (Pink Campervan) and specialist breast health nurses are coming to Hauiti Hauora for a free kōrero on all things breast health.

Whether you have questions about mammograms, changes to your breasts, what a lump feels like, or general breast health, come along and have a kōrero with the team 🩷

📍 Hauiti Hauora, 8–12 Main Road, Tolaga Bay

We’ll kick off with a community kōrero open to all whānau to attend, followed by a light morning tea. The Pink Campervan will then set up in town, giving our wider community another opportunity to pop in, ask questions and get free breast health advice.

A special evening for whānau to come together in a safe and supportive space to remember and honour our pēpi, share aroha, connect and reflect.

🌱 As part of the kaupapa, whānau will receive hue seeds to plant at home in remembrance, helping to create a living whakapapa that connects and supports whānau year after year.

The evening will include kai and coffee, kōrero, reflection, poems and an opportunity for whānau to share if they wish.

💚 Whiringa-a-nuku | “Check in on the Bros” Tāne Hauora Night

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re creating a space for our tāne to come together, connect and have a kōrero.

This year’s theme is “Belonging Matters. Ko au ko koe, ko koe ko au – I am you, and you are me”, reminding us how important connection and belonging are for our wellbeing.

We’ll be joined by guest speakers Jamie Hutana from Tairāwhiti Tāne Ora and Cory Garrett, Mental Health Clinician from Te Whare Oranga Tairāwhiti.

There’ll also be:

We’re kicking off the first of a series of Pēpi Club macramé sessions, giving our māmā the chance to learn something new, get creative and connect with other whānau in a relaxed, supportive space.
