What a Day!! Blessed to have such amazing women in my presence!! Beth and Tina deserved a day out and I was lucky enough to be able to take them.

Beth co-ordinates all the yarn, pairing it with local knitters who enjoy creating items for baby. She collects approx. 2 large bags full of goodies to deliver to Hamilton hospital every few months.

Tina and her husband Phil created a beautiful big box of goodies. Phil has early onset dementia and Parkinson's, he with Tinas help is able to make beanies on a loom, and while he enjoys doing that she creates little booties, matinée jackets and blankets.

I am so appreciative that I am able to take time away from work to do this. Grateful that I know such amazing individuals who so freely give their time. Delighted that we love in such a beautiful and special place to treat these wonderful people like the absolute Queens they are!

Now for you beautiful giving people who have managed to read this far. I ask you for your help. Beth has mentioned two centers are in dire need of knitted items.
Can you please share this to anyone who may have a stash of yarn they don't need and can donate, OR if you would like to send a gift card from a yarn store (like spotlight) or a donation of some kind We would greatly appreciate it. 100% of any donation goes to yarn, any cost of travel etc. is covered by us.

These little ones have already had a tough start to life. They need extra special care, lots and lots of love and to be kept warm.

What better way to help them from afar than a little gift made with love to help them just a little. Their little bodies have no way to regulate their own body temperature, these knitted items will do the trick just nicely.

Hi, Im Sharyn, with your help we can help keep a lot of precious bundles warm while they grow big and strong till they get home with their families.

Any woolen yarn would be a great help, knitting needles or crochet hooks you no longer need would also be amazing.
