A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers and supporters who joined us at the Multicultural Aoraki Festival. Your time, dedication, and enthusiasm made the event a wonderful success. It was truly special to come together, collaborate, and share the many delicious dishes prepared by everyone. We also greatly enjoyed the beautiful performances presented by the various cultural groups, which made the celebration even more vibrant and meaningful.

Thank you to Multicultural Aoraki for the kind invitation and for organising such a wonderful event. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Multicultural Aoraki Food Festival – Join Us!
多元文化奥拉基美食节 —— 欢迎大家参加！

The South Canterbury Chinese Society warmly invites all members, friends, and the public to join us this Saturday at the Multicultural Aoraki Food Festival! Come and enjoy the delicious homemade food shown on our poster, all lovingly prepared by our society volunteers. 🍜🥟🍡

All proceeds from our stall will go towards supporting future activities and events of the society, helping us continue building a vibrant community together.

📍 Venue: Ara Institute Field (Grey Road)
📅 Date: 7 March (Saturday)
⏰ Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

There will also be special performances by the Chinese Society, so don’t miss the chance to enjoy great food, culture, and entertainment! 🎶

Happy Chinese New Year!

On behalf of the South Canterbury Chinese Society, we would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended our Chinese New Year celebration for the Year of the Horse on 22nd February 2026.

Your presence made the event truly special and meaningful. It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate culture, friendship, and the new year.

A very special thank you to all our dedicated volunteers and talented performers. Your hard work, time, and passion made this event possible and such a great success.

We deeply appreciate everyone’s support and participation.

Wishing you all good health, happiness, and prosperity in the Year of the Horse.

Dear members and public,

The South Canterbury Chinese Society will be setting up a stall for the Multicultural Festival this upcoming Saturday! These are all the homemade yummy food that we will be selling and we hope that you will come and support us! Let's spread our culture and enjoy food made by Chinese from all around the world!

**1st March Ara Institute Field (11 am to 3pm)
**It's a fundraiser food stall. All proceedings will fund our upcoming events and programs for our society.
