Local Lindsay says 'I knew what it felt like to sit in a classroom and feel like you were always behind. I never want a child to go through what I did'. Which lead Lindsay to volunteer at Boost, a literacy programme run here in Ashburton. Lindsay concludes 'there aren't enouigh hours in the day, but what I give to Boost comes back to me tenfold. I'd highly recomment volunteering, This programme changes lives-including mine'.
