Welcome to the new Timaru Scottish Society page!

The home of the Timaru Scottish Society Hall, the Timaru Scottish Pipe Band, and just generally all things Scottish in the heart of South Canterbury.

The society extends beyond this however and identifies as a community centre, with a large concert hall and other areas of the facility being the perfect venue for a good majority of event types, but more on this to come...

The society is run by the Timaru Scottish Society Committee, led by Terry Currie as the Chair and Heather Woolstencroft as Secretary.

We look forward to sharing future events, opportunities, society news and history with you and encourage anyone with any type of enquiry to get in touch with us and we'd be happy help.

Whew, how many times can YOU say Scottish in one post?!

Slangeva! (Which means to Good Health in Gaelic)
