Puahue Playcentre

Puahue Playcentre Playcentre provides ECE for children aged 0-6 years. We are a parent co-op specialising in child led play. Everyone's welcome to join us for 3 free visits.

We are a friendly and fun group of parents/whanau in the rural area of Puahue, approx 10 minutes from Te Awamutu. We focus on providing a loving learning environment for our children aged 0-6yrs. Our grounds are open plan and we have a wonderful playground with lots of different areas for the children to explore. We hold our sessions in our purpose built building which is nestled between the commu

nity hall and Puahue Primary School. We have close ties with the school which includes using some of their facilities and group school visits provide a smooth transition to beginning school. Even some of the Teachers are ex playcentre mums!

We want to give a huge thank you to the many volunteers, past and present, that have given so much of their time, energy and aroha to Puahue Playcentre. We also acknowledge the staff that have supported us over the years, often giving that little bit more to help ease our load.
We appreciate you all more than words can say ❤️ (although the laughter and love from our tamariki on session definitely helps to capture the words we can't always find)
