A full month of connection can be made up of very small moments: a shared laugh, a cup of tea, a walk beside someone, trying something new or simply being welcomed by name. 💗

Thank you to every woman who joined us during September - and to the volunteers who keep creating these moments. If you haven’t visited yet, our doors will be open again on Tuesday from 11am-2pm.

Come as you are.

Today we’re thankful for the people who make ordinary days feel a little lighter. 🌸

The friend who checks in. The volunteer who puts on the jug. The woman who remembers your name, saves you a seat or makes you laugh when you need it most. Small kindnesses help build the kind of community we all deserve.

Who has brightened your week? Give them a little shout-out below - or send them a message to let them know. 💗

After a big Saturday, Sunday morning is for slowing down and making something. 🎨☕

Nicola and Sharon host our Sunday Craft Group on the last Sunday of each month. September’s session is tomorrow, Sunday 27 September, from 9am-12pm at the Hub.

It’s completely drop-in, so come for as much or as little of the morning as suits you. Bring your painting, knitting, diamond art, crochet, colouring, scrapbooking, folk art or any other project - or simply join us for a cuppa and a chat. All crafts and experience levels are welcome.

Thank you to Di for all the work she put into starting our craft groups. And keep an eye out for possible Christmas crafts at November’s Sunday session! 🎄

What a day so far! 💗🚶‍♀️✨ The Waipā Women’s Hub crew is having an absolute blast at Hub Team - Walk 2 Talk Ohaupo! today! After having so much fun last year, there was never any doubt that we’d be back again, and today certainly isn’t disappointing. 😁

There are tutus, fairy wings, tinsel, plenty of pink, lots of laughs, delicious food, great conversations and lap after lap around the field. Even the gazebo has decided to provide a bit of extra entertainment in the wind! 😂💨⛺

Underneath all the fun is a really worthwhile cause. Walk to Talk 12hr Event - Ōhaupō brings our community together while raising funds for Kids in Need Waikato and Waikato Rural Support Trust, two fantastic organisations doing important work in our region. 💕

A huge thank you to everyone who has walked, talked, helped out, brought food, dressed up, stopped by to visit or cheered us on so far. Days like today are exactly what community is all about: connection, laughter, friendship and supporting one another.

And we’re not finished yet! We’re here until 7pm tonight, so there’s still plenty of time to come down, say hello, walk a lap or two, have a chat or simply cheer everyone on. 💗

Judging by these photos, we think it’s safe to say Walk 2 Talk is firmly on the Waipā Women’s Hub annual calendar! 🧚‍♀️✨

Come and join the fun! ✌️😁✌️
