We are writing to share an update regarding Winter Bible School and the Bible Intensive for 2026.
Toward the end of 2025, two members of the WBS Committee met with the Elders of The Orchard Church to prayerfully evaluate the future direction of these ministries. (Both Winter Bible School and the Bible Intensive are initiatives of The Orchard Church and come under the elders’ oversight.)
In these discussions, we gave thanks for the many ways God has used these initiatives over the years. We also had honest conversation about their effectiveness in a changing ministry environment, and about what would be required to sustain them well into the future.
As a result of this process, we have decided to take a hiatus in 2026. During this year, we intend to reflect carefully on what the future may hold—whether one or both ministries might be reconfigured in a different form, or whether this particular season of ministry has run its course.
We remain deeply grateful to the Lord for many years of fruit and impact, and we look to Him for wisdom and clarity as we consider the best way forward.
