It is with much sadness that we announced we have decided to formally close the Ladies Charity Luncheon Charitable trust meaning the end of the Ladies Charity Luncheon.
We are extremely proud of the fact that over the four years this event ran, we were able to raise over $600,000 for charities in the Western Bay of Plenty, with Tauranga RDA Equestrian Therapy Centre, Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service, Waipuna Hospice, Tauranga Womens Refuge ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐น๐๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ all benefiting from the generosity of the amazing women in the Western Bay.
Our events in 2020 & 2021 were cancelled due to COVID and during that time work commitments and locations changed for both Leona and myself making it difficult to continue this event.
We were therefore thrilled when we learnt about the Western Bay Women's Fund and felt that by donating our remaining funds to them, was the perfect way to continue the legacy of WBOP women creating positive change in our community. Let's support Hayley Nelson, Keryn Jarvis, and Anne Pankhurst in growing this fund for lasting impact in our region.
