We are excited to announce the TDI Committee and look forward to continuing to provide a positive, supportive, and community-focused dance competition environment for dancers and their families.

TDI is proud to be an Incorporated Society and registered charity, built by and for our local dance community for many decades. As we move forward, we want our community to know that all TDI helpers and volunteers from this point on will be trusted local members of the Tauranga dance community.

Our competitions and events are only possible because of the incredible support of families, teachers, dancers, and volunteers. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

We always need helping hands! Whether you can assist at events, help behind the scenes, or contribute your skills in another way, we would love to hear from you.

What an amazing weekend of dancing! Posts to follow but firstly we would like to say a massive congratulations to Speechless from Turning Pointe Tauranga for getting an NYPA nomination. Choreographer Chiara Giacon. Congratulations girls we are proud to have you represent us at NYPA!

Doors open 8am. Check your emails for entry code.
Ticket sales for troupes sky rocketed in the last 24 hrs but I’m hoping that everyone who wants a ticket gets one. Box office is open an hr before each session and you don’t have to enter at exact start time but please Do Not Enter or move around when dancers are on the stage!

Great news! A few places have opened up for TAP and impromptus- so if you were on the waitlist please check your emails or notifications in the app.
Apologies to those who are on the waitlist for modern we are really full and as yet haven’t had many scratches. I appreciate some of you have been on the waitlist right from the start and we’re really sorry not to be able to let everyone dance.
