Its time put your nomination in for the Peter Jenkins Memorial Award
This will be presented at the Kiwi Arena Rake Dressage Bay of Plenty Premier League Show in association with Vivant Equi .

This special award is for past and present Dressage Bay of Plenty members and volunteers and celebrates the memory of our wonderful late-president Peter Jenkins. Pete gave so much to our sport and was the first to put up his hand to help, always with that warm smile and fabulous personality.

Any past or present Dressage BOP member is eligible for nomination, in recognition of an outstanding positive influence on dressage in the Bay of Plenty. Includes riders, judges, administrators, volunteers, etc.

ANYONE can put in a nomination. Please include a little bit of information as to why you think the person you are nominating is deserving of the award.
It's easy as sending an email to: [email protected].

Writers needed! Come and have a fun weekend away in Taupō or just come for the day.

WRITERS, WRITERS, WRITERS!

With just over a month to go until the Bay of Plenty Dressage Premier League show, we need lots and lots of wonderful writers.

The show is being held in Taupō on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026. You can help for one day, both days or part of a day.

No previous experience is necessary. If you can listen and write down the judge’s comments, we would love to hear from you. Our wonderful judges will guide you and look after you.

Writers receive:

• $60 for a full day
• $30 for a half day
• Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
• Free overnight accommodation if required, with limited portacoms available

It is one of the best seats in the house, a fantastic way to learn more about dressage and a great opportunity to meet some wonderful people.

Please put your hand up and help us make this show happen. We will genuinely appreciate you!

Due to the weather we have just made a call to postpone our have a go day to 3rd October. Its meant to be fun day, not a day to endure rubbish weather. We've had a number of scratching's already. An email is being sent to those who were going to come. Let us know if you can make the new date by replying to your email.
Stupid weather!
