This Saturday is Anzac Day, with services taking place across the city - and the weather is looking sunny and clear. 🌞

Many of you will be up before sunrise to attend a dawn service, or heading along to the Civic Memorial Service later in the morning at Memorial Park. Everyone is welcome to attend a local service.

A reminder that this year:
▪️The Tauranga Dawn Service will be held at Memorial Park.
▪️The Civic Memorial Service will begin at 9.30am, bringing together both Tauranga and Mount Maunganui RSAs in a shared commemoration. (There is no later Mount Maunganui Civic Service).
▪️The Tauranga Moana Tumatauenga Commemoration has been moved from Ōpōpoti (Maungatapu) Marae to Hangarau Marae in Bethlehem.

However you choose to mark it, Anzac Day remains an important day to pause, reflect, and acknowledge the service and sacrifice of those who came before us.
