The best thing you can do with your baby Sessions are well resourced and are held at a local Playcentre.

It's no secret that being a new parent can come with a lot of happiness & a fair share of challenges! Adjusting to your new life, new routine (or lack of it...) & new baby can be a daunting task that is sure to raise many questions. At Space you and your baby will connect with other new parents & their babies as you explore parenting & children's development in a safe, facilitated environment. You

r Space group will meet weekly, giving you & your baby the chance to make real connections during your baby's first year. You & your baby will explore music & movement, rhymes, books & a variety of play experiences. You will discover ways to support & extend your baby's learning & development, including ideas & opportunities for play experiences at home. You will get to consider different parenting perspectives, perhaps find out some new information, & have some great, facilitated discussions as you discover ways that work for you & your baby. Our qualified facilitators along with other professionals share their collective knowledge and experience with the group. Furthermore, we encourage parents to use the Space programme as a forum to share their own parenting experiences. Our current venues are: Otumoetai, Mount, Papamoa, Welcome Bay, Tauriko, Greenpark, Te Puke and Omokoroa.

Playcentre’s free Messy Play Week event for families with children from birth to school age is being held again this year from Monday 2 March to Friday 6 March at nearly 400 Playcentres across Aotearoa.

Loved Space and have just Graduated? Or you have an older baby and looking for a fun activity to do together for a term?
Great news! Our next Babies Can Play session will start on 28th January - Wednesday AM at Greenpark Playcentre for older babies born March 2024- March 2025.
Weekly sessions will facilitated by the lovely Judy and Emma.

There will be a different topic each week including Messy Play, Heuristic Play, Painting and Water Play. So much fun over the summer months!

The cost is $30.00 for a 11 week term.
