Omanu Beach SLSC Junior Surf We encourage children to have fun and develop their surf skills, so that they can enjoy the beach and one day might be able to save someone else too.

From the age of 5 years, children can join their local Surf Life Saving Club to participate in Junior Surf. We encourage children to have fun and develop their skills, so that they can enjoy the beach and one day might be able to save someone else too. It’s about developing tomorrow’s lifeguards and opening up a whole new world to children. Omanu Beach SLSC has one of the biggest programmes in New Zealand

The Junior Surf season runs from November through to March. It’s easy to join, and you are welcome to come along on a Sunday morning where Junior Surf sessions start at 9:30am

An awesome end to Academy last night everyone involved , good to see the parents giving it a go with the kids in a mega board relay. So much fun . Thanks to all the parents who gave up time to do water safety, really very much appreciated. So good to so many kids out on boards , the club looks in good shape going foward .

📣Come and join us this afternoon to climb Mauao! We're showing our support for the Mount Everest Challenge who are donating all funds raised for the 2024 challenge back to Omanu Beach SLSC, Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service & Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club which we think is amazing 🙌🙌🙌
