🦴❄️ Daycare Learning Highlight! ❄️🦕

“Every fossil has a story, and last week our Tamariki discovered the magic of the past.”

Last week, we introduced the children to paleontology — the science of fossils, dinosaurs, and ancient creatures.
We also explored the Ice Age, learning about mammoths, icy landscapes, and how the world looked millions of years ago.

Our little explorers enjoyed:
✨ Discovering what fossils are
✨ Learning how paleontologists study bones
✨ Talking about Ice Age animals
✨ Imagining what life was like in a frozen world

✨ Shapes & Creativity Time! ✨
Our tamariki have been busy exploring shapes through fun drawing and art activities! 🎨✏️

They learned to recognize circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles — and then used their imagination to turn those shapes into beautiful pictures. 🏠🌈⭐

Through hands-on play, they discovered how mixing ingredients can create a fizzy surprise — helping build curiosity, confidence, and early science skills.
